Yes, I live and work in two remarkable places. 
Central Otago for the epic weddings, photography, mountains, golden light and Wellington for the artistic photography, ballet, theatre, long-time friends and vibe.  

Life is good.

My biggest influence was my parents who were both pro photographers in London.  My Dad ran Bassano, Vandyk, Elliot & Fry in the 50s - 70s.  Mum was a graduate of photography school, which was ground breaking as a female back in the day.  

I’ve had a camera since I was 7 and have photographed most of my life.  My big break came while working at Sadlers Wells Theatre in London, where I photographed some of the world's best dancers.  That was just the start.

I’m never happier than when photographing love (yes, your wedding) and dance.

I love and value masterpieces – in people, art, memories, relationships, scenery and the natural order of life.

Paul is my supporter and best friend.  Especially when he brings me my first cuppa :-)  Paul is also the technical and catering departments of Stagebox Photography.

We married after 15 years together and had two weddings!  One atop a mountain in Aotearoa – pure heaven and the other in a tiny village in France with the whanau – pure magic!

Joy is not having to get up early.  I only have one 5 in my day and it’s not the first one! But I'm up early, early for weddings and to hike up mountains.
