Glendhu Station in Wanaka is one of my absolute favourite venues in Wanaka.  With views to die for, the homestead to get ready in, a beautifully situated ceremony garden high above Lake Wanaka, the romantically rustic shearing shed venue, easy access to the lake and bay and the added bonus of the opportunity to take golden hour photos high up on the station after your ceremony - all in all Glendhu Station has it all.   

The other great and most important thing is that John, who owns and runs Glendhu Station is fantastic and really looks after you.  So important on one of the biggest days of your life.

And I love it!

Aimee and Brent chose Glendhu Station for all these reasons and also because it's a one stop shop - you don't have to go anywhere on the day - it all happens at Glendhu Station. 

Getting ready is an important time to hang out with your whanau and besties.   Brent got ready in Wanaka while Aimee got ready at the Homestead at Glendu Station.

The Homestead  is perfect for getting ready in a relaxed environment with your besties.  Loads of space, great rooms and surrounded by the beautiful wooden verandas and cottage garden.  

Aimee and her bridesmaids and family had so much fun getting ready and having relaxed pre wedding photos in the house and garden.  It's all part of the buitd up to the big moment.

I love 1st Looks with Dad.  Such a moment when he sees you all dressed up for the first time.  

I'm there ready to catch his expression and there's often a tear or two of joy - not just from Dad either! 

Walking you down the aisle is a big deal for a Dad and having a fw moments together beforehand is so special.

Aimee chose to do her 1st Look in the garden at Glendhu Station Homestead and it was perfect - private and surrounded by beautiful trees.

High above Lake Wanaka Aimee and Brent said their I Do's surrounded by love and support from their whanau and friends.

There are so many incredible photo spots at Glendhu Station that we are spoilt for choice.   I love the Stables, which has the most beautiful soft light and atmosphere for romantic photos.  And I know you'll want to see this iconic image.

One of the most glorious times of your day.  That golden hour just before sunset and a few precious moments alone high above Glendhu Station with views of the mountains, Lake Wanaka and each other.

And then it's time for the exquisite dinner by Morsel at the glorious Glendhu Station followed by party, party, party!
