Smaller Weddings

Wedding Photography prices for small to medium weddings
  • Number of guests: 20-40 Guests
  • Time and Duration: 5 hours approx
  • Number of Images: ~300 images

The Mini Matchmaker

Designed for genuinely smaller weddings and elopements of aprox 20 - 40 people

Or if you wish to capture just the ceremony, group, family and bridal party or a shorter part of the day

Usually includes:

  • Ceremony, family, group photo, bridal party photos, details of venue and rings and 1st hour of reception
  • 5 hours aprox for 20-40 guests
  • Aprox 200-300 images depending on time
  • Does not include preparation, full reception or first dance
  • Each image is individually & lovingly edited by me 
  • Two sets of stunning digital images for social media and print
  • Colour + selection of black & white or special style
  • Delivery via secure online gallery

Fly Away Mountain Photo Tour by helicopter

Take a short 10 minute flight from Queenstown or Wanaka and be photographed with your beloved on top of the world. 

Take a 20 minute flight from Queenstown or Wanaka for a unique mountain, lake or glacier experience in Mount Aspiring National Park.  Just you (and your pilot and me).  No one else.  You are in complete nature.

Mountain Photo Tour Queenstown

A short 20-25 minute drive by car from Queenstown.

You can be in the mountains quickly with a choice stunning views .

This is a great option on a good day as you get so many views. You might even get snow in winter.

2 hour tour (plus travel time) includes two locations close by including views of The Remarkables, Coronet Peak, Lake Wakatipu and Frankton plus at the 2nd location views of Mount Aspiring National Park and the Alps
1 hour tour (plus travel time) includes 1 location with views of The Remarkables, Coronet Peak, Lake Wakatipu and Frankton.

4WD vehicle and winter boots are required in winter and spring from aproximately May to September.  A jacket and sun block are a must in all seasons as the mountain weather can change quickly, which is what makes it exciting.

Beach Photo Tour

A 25 minute drive by car from Queenstown.

You can be out of town and on the quiet beach quickly.  Just you and your loved one with almost nobody around.

This is a great option on a good day as you get so many views.

2 hour tour (plus travel time) includes two locations close by including Includes stunning views of the Beach, Lake Wakatipu, Remarkables Mountains, Cecil Peak and Walter Peak plus the intriguing Forest with lake views 
1 hour tour (plus travel time) includes 1 location at the Beach with mountain views as above.

Queenstown Gardens Photo Tour

Right in the heart of Queenstown you can walk across the bridge from your accommodation or take a limousine or taxi to the garden gates.

This is a good option for lots of views with shelter from wind.

2 hour tour includes 2 locations within Queenstown Gardens including the pond, roses, rotunda and view of Queenstown plus the forest and lake side looking towards CecilPeak, Walter Peak and The Remarkables.
1 hour tour (plus travel time) includes 1 location within the gardens including the pond, roses, rotunda and view of Queenstown.

About Your Photo Tour

To really have fun and make the most of your Wedding Photo Tour I recommend combining 2 or 3 Photo Tours to create a half day experience.  This way you get to see a lot of country that you wouldn't normally see and receive a beautiful collection of photos from a wide variety of settings.

A one hour tour is a good option if you're in a hurry but, to get the most out of your experience, I recommend a minimum of 2 hour Photo Tour (plus drive time) with two locations close.

Images on this page include Photo Tours with Stagebox Photography, Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters, Over The Tp Helicopters, Aspiring Helicopters, Queenstown Angel Weddings and New Zealand Wedding Services.

Drive time is in addition to the Photo Tour time listed.

All tours are weather dependent because we are in a wild mountain environment. You can't separate weather from mountains.

I keep an eye on the weather forecast and keep in touch with you in the week leading up to your Photo Tour.  If the weather is not suitable for your chosen location on the day I find an alternative location for that day.  

If the weather is not suitable to Fly Away in your helicopter I find a suitable on-the-ground alternative location.

It's a good idea to have an extra day available on your visit so that, if the weather is unsuitable to go outside anywhere on your booked date, we have the option to change the day.

I like to make your Photo Tour relaxed and fun.  The best photos are when you're having fun - so we have lots of fun.  We'll do some formal photos first, if you want formal photos, and then we relax and enjoy ourselves. 

You recieve not only a beautiful collection of photos but also a great tour of secret spots in the area that you wouldn't otherwise experience. 

I know lots of great spots and quite a lot about weather so I look after you and make sure you have the best time.  Your Photo Tour will be memorable not just in the beautiful photos but for the fun time you have making them.

Before the day
I organise all the key elements of your wedding for you, including helicopter, celebrant and photography, so you don't need to spend time researching, organising and coordinating with different vendors. 

I work with several top helicopter companies and celebrants in both Queenstown and Wanaka.  All the providers I work with are experienced and provide exceptional and personal service in elopement weddings

On the day
I meet you at your accommodation for some preparation photos beforehand and to make sure you're dressed warm.  I then fly with you, the pilot (of course) and the celebrant to a breathtaking mountain destination for your wedding ceremony and glorious mountain photos.

I can also spend time with you after we land, to photograph you in the magic surrounds of a lake or mountain view destination of your choice to capture all that excitement after you land.  You'll be on an adrenalin high and won't want the party to end.

Medium size and shorter Wedding

The Matchmaker
